B+E car and trailer reverse exercise
This exercise is usually carried out at the start of the test. Remember to use all round observation throughout the manoeuvre. Make sure you keep all wheels within the boundary line. You are also allowed to get out of the vehicle to look, if you do STOP the engine.

1. Drive forward so that your vehicle is positioned nearer
to cone A and that the front of your vehicle does not go through or past
the 2 cones A and A1
2. Reverse so that you put cone B on the offside of your
vehicle.
3. Stop so the rear of your trailer is within the yellow
and black box making sure you do not touch any of the bay cones as you
reverse.
The examiner can have a variance of 3 metres of where the
bay cones with the stick are placed, this will not be disclosed before the
test.
