What we collect

We will collect the following information if you fill in one of our web forms.

Your name and any contact information including email address, postal address and telephone number so that we may get back to you as soon as possible.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

Internal record keeping when booking driving lessons. Instructors within Drive Safe will need your name, address and telephone number so that you may be collected for your driving lessons, without giving them this information we cannot conduct the driving lesson for obvious reasons.

We may also use the information to improve our products and services.

What we do not do with the information you supply us with.

We do not give out your personal information. We will not give out or pass on any personal information you have supplied to us to any third party what so ever outside of Drive Safe Driving School unless it is requested by the emergency services (fire, ambulance or police). 

How we use cookies when visiting our website

The law changed on 26^th May 2011 so we must let you know that cookies are used on our site. Cookies are not a new thing they have been around since the beginning of the internet and almost every website uses cookies. Before this date website builders did not have to tell you about cookies, however it gives you the choice to stay on the website or leave.

Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic so that we can tell which pages are the most popular and which services our customers require the most. We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes.

When you pass your driving test we may ask you if it's ok to take your photo holding your pass certificate next to one of our cars. If you agree to us taking your photo we will most likely post it to our website, social media accounts and possibly use it in any promotions we may engaging in. Should anyone you know tag you in the posts on social media and you wish that tag to be removed please ask your friend to remove the tag or contact us directly and we will remove it immediately or as soon as possible. If you do not wish your photo to be used on our website, social media or promotions please either decline your photo being taken by your instructor or contact us directly to ask for it to be removed, again that will be done as soon as possible.
